Thomas S. Brandon, Jr. negotiated a brokers’ settlement agreement related to the sale of more than 250,000 net mineral acres in the Montana Bakken play s between private sellers and a publicly held company.  The transaction closed in May, 2012.  As a result of the settlement agreement, the brokers received fees based upon the sale of the net mineral acreage as well as an ORRI (overriding royalty interest) to be paid upon production.  He is continuing to represent the brokers in representing other sellers in large oil and gas transactions in other locations as well.
