Hunter McLean received an appellant victory in an insurance coverage case.  The 8^th Court of Appeals issued its opinion in Great American Insurance Company d/b/a Great American Insurance Companies, No. 08-11-00302-CV, (Tex. App. – El Paso 2014) confirming coverage for a judgment Mr. McLean obtained in a construction defect case for his client.  This is an important legal victory for insured and owners in construction defect cases.  Great American had advanced many arguments in an attempt to avoid coverage.
