Stephen Mosher

Background

Stephen S. Mosher practices in the area of patent and copyright matters, with an emphasis on patent procurement. A patent practitioner since 1989, Steve’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, prior art searches and patent analysis in telecommunications, internet, oil & gas, electronics and mechanical fields. His practice also includes substantial support of patent litigation.

Before entering the practice of law, Steve held engineering and management positions with several electronics corporations, including Motorola, Harris Intertype and Tandy. With twenty years of engineering experience, he is particularly skilled at drafting detailed, and therefore more defensible, patent applications. Steve is one of six patent attorneys in the firm, forming a skilled patent procurement team with a great track record of obtaining patent protection across a variety of technology areas.

Testimonials

“Mr. Mosher’s background in electrical engineering enabled him to obtain four patents for us on dynamic electric power generation from geothermal and hydrogen (non-carbon) sources for stabilizing system voltage on the electric power grid when conventional reactive compensating elements fail. In addition, his actions in handling another matter of substantial sensitivity for us reflect the highest ethical standards expected of an attorney in the Federal Court system.”

Edward Hinders, San Antonio, TX

“Stephen Mosher is the perfect combination of engineer and patent attorney. His work is outstanding and he has the ability to simplify the complex issues and communicate effectively in a manner that satisfies the PTO examiner while keeping the inventor informed in layman terms throughout the entire patent process. Most importantly we are batting 100% having been granted patents on all applications submitted.”
