In the latest round of skirmishes in the trademark dispute pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas between our client Diece-Lisa Industries [owner of the Lots of Hugs trademark] and various Disney entities [users of Lots-‘O-Huggin’ and Lotso marks and character in the Toy Story 3 animated movie], Magistrate Judge Payne recommended that Disney’s Motions for Summary Judgment be denied.  His decision has been widely reported by the Hollywood Reporter.
