Brent was the Briefing Attorney to Justice Terrie Livingston, Court of Appeals,
Second District of Texas from 1998-1999. He combines direct trial and arbitration experience with his concentration
on appellate law to provide a practical as well as scholarly foundation to his work. Brent has had a wide range of subject matter
experience including sovereign immunity, commercial and contract law, torts, intellectual property, insurance,
employment and Texas lien law. He provides expertise, briefing and presenting oral arguments, throughout the full
spectrum of litigation from pre-trial motions, jury charges and post trial motions to appeals at the state and federal levels.
