Ms. Knight is an accomplished, experienced attorney with diverse business and legal experience. Since joining Whitaker Chalk, Ms. Knight has advised clients on major transactional, regulatory, marketing, and intellectual property issues. Her current clients are in the technology, pharmaceutical, medical device, health care and energy industries.

Prior to joining Whitaker Chalk, Kathleen was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of Alcon Inc. She has over 23 years experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Consumer Product areas. She worked on matters involving all stages of the pharmaceutical product life cycle, from product development and approval to manufacturing, sales, marketing and distribution.

Established practice focusing on:

Commercial Agreements. Master Service Agreements, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, License Agreements, and Commercial Leases specializing in the Healthcare, Technology, Pharmaceutical and Device, and Energy Industries.

Regulatory. Prepares policies and procedures, trains and advises health care entities on HIPAA, Privacy, Fraud and Abuse, and Employment Issues.

Energy. Negotiates and provides advice on leases, landowner issues, operator disputes, and conflicts between estate holders for Oil & Gas and Wind Energy Projects.

Litigation. Healthcare, Technology, Intellectual Property, and Oil & Gas and Wind Energy.

Alternative Dispute Resolution. Experienced Mediator, Arbitrator, and Advocate in mediation or arbitration.
